I have not been happy with this drive since I bought it. Firstly I was surprised by how slow it was but I was prepared to put up with this. However, the swivel attachment has now come away from the drive. The packaging also seemed poorly printed and I suspect this may be fake. I could be wrong and stand to be corrected but it is not the quality I expected.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this to replace an 8Gb stick of the same make. The purpose is to facilitate large file transfers. This device certainly does the job but it is slower than the one it replaces. Reads at 10Mb/s but takes 10-15mins to write 2 Gb e.g. 2 to 3 Mb/s. Its predecessor had a data transfer LED so you knew it was doing something! This model does not. I would not buy another.

Really disappointing performance. I bought this drive to store and transfer large video files and, based on all the previous 5 star reviews, was expecting to be able to copy video files to it relatively quickly. Not so! In fact, my old 16Gb Corsair Voyager is considerably faster. A comparison test transfering a 2.3Gb .mkv video file from my PC to each of the flash drives came up with the following results:
Corsair Voyager: transfer time = 2m 24 secs
Kingston Data Traveller: transfer time = 7m 09 secs
No contest and I've wasted £22!!
