It's worth noting that you do not get an SD adapter (not that I wanted one, I've too many already), just the micro SD in retail packaging. I ordered mine from Wiziwoo Limited and would recommend them.
A few days ago the card suddenly stopped working in my phone after only a few weeks. I inserted it into the PC but the card didn't even show up, and still won't. It's now useless as it is completely broken and it can't be detect by anything. Luckily I still had all the data that was transferred over from when I bought the card, but it could have been a lot worse as the information on the card now is gone because it won't work. I contacted Amazon and they were extremely helpful and immediately sent out a replacement, even though I'm worried about using it in case it happens again. Because of this problem it's got to be down graded to a three star.
*ADVISORY* My microSD card worked in my Android 4.1 or 4.2 device but after a short time, it is no longer accessible and has locked up. How do I resolve this issue?
A problem has been identified with some microSD cards and Android 4.1 & 4.2 based devices like the Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S4, and Samsung Galaxy Note II that causes the card to become unresponsive after being used for a short time. Kingston Technology has taken the necessary measures to resolve the issue but it is always a good idea to keep a BACKUP of ALL important data. If you are experiencing this problem, please contact our Technical Support department for a resolution.
Card worked for aprox 5 days before suddenly being unread by my phone. Tried several times to mount, but not recognised any time. Tried putting into another phone, still unread. v.frustrating as I'd transferred what must have been thousands of pictures onto it from my phone & old SD card. Lesson learned - store data in more than one place, but frankly, to buy from a supposedly premium maker, and to have the product conk out not even a week...
For a 16gb class 10 micro SD card that's brilliant.
It was bought for use in a Tesco Hudl in which it works absolutely fine increasing the storage capacity massively at a very low price.
Have had no performance issues with the card whatsoever despite the HUDL being Android
To those who've read of problems with some Android devices I'd say at this price give the Kingston card a try. You can always send it back if it doesn't work.
But for me it's been the perfect memory storage expansion
