Like all Kingston HyperX products, HyperX DDR2 modules were specifically engineered and designed to meet the rigorous requirements of PC enthusiasts. HyperX DDR2 offers faster speeds, lower latencies, higher data bandwidths and lower power consumption.
Kingston's KHX6400D2K2/4G is a kit of two 256M x 64-bit 2GB (2048MB) DDR2-800 CL5 SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) memory modules, based on sixteen 128M x 8-bit DDR2 FBGA components. Total kit capacity is 4GB (4096MB). Each module pair has been tested to run at DDR2 800MHz at latency timing of 5-5-5-15 at 1.85V. The SPD is programmed to JEDEC standard latency 667Mhz timing of 5-5-5-15 at 1.8V. Each 240-pin DIMM uses gold contact fingers and requires +1.8V.

I have a dual-core AMD and have always felt the performance was under par, having upgraded the memory to 4Gb fast 800Mz memory, I now know the reason! The original 2Gb memory was 566Mz and the difference has to be experienced to be believed. The system boots faster, loads programs faster and of course, with twice the memory, I'm able to keep multiple applications running without performance degradation. The Kingston has a high quality feel and installs in seconds, really simple.
In short, I upgraded the memory and avoided a CPU upgrade! Highly recommended.

I bought 4x2GB of the Kingston KVR 800Mz HyperX DDR2 Memory
to install in my new mobo Gigabyte E7AUM-DS2H, Pentium Extreme3.73GHz,
nVidia 9500GT 1Gb GPU and 2 WD500GB Hard drives, Vista Ultimate 64Bit.
and the speed of this memory is superb, Its great for gaming. Kingston have a reputation that is second to none I would highly recommend the Kingston KVR 800MZ HyperX to any one
