I've used quite a few ram makers over the years. I used to use Crucial for all my builds, but unfortunately had problems with failures after a few years (more than a few as well and some of their ballistix range too) Sadly Crucial support isn't that good and I had quite a delay on a few returns. One set of Ballistix memory that failed, got replaced with bog standard ram (again not acceptable in my view)
Looking for a new maker about 2 years ago I decided to use Kingston memory for all my builds. The value ram is for most people, you can hunt around for the faster memory if you wish (though the premium ram in my view isn't a big jump in performance, and for most not really a sensible purchase bar heavy overclockers) To date I have had no problems at all with these modules, I have 4 fitted to my own pc, have built around 8-9 pc's with this memory. All worked just great out of the box, perfect.
As with any respected maker you get a lifetime warranty. Some come as low profile DIMM's, some the normal sizes ones. Either way this is good solid memory that so far has exceeded my expectations and with 0 problems that's exactly what I'm looking for...highly recommended
