This outdoor giant darts set was purchased for a boys birthday (11 years); In theory this should be a good game, however, the dart tips have blunt rounded ends(obviously for a childs toy)and this means when thrown correctly they will not stick in the ground as depicted in the photograph; The darts weak spot is between the top of the tip and the base of the flights and this is where they snap on contact with harder ground conditions.

Bit of a disappointment. Two of the darts snapped almost at once, although admittedly the ground was quite hard following dry weather.

Bought the darts for my daughters 10th birthday party. They look great and were easy to handle by the children. The grass was damp when we played with the darts and the darts went in the ground easily - havent tested them when the ground has been 'bone dry'. The children thoughly enjoyed playing the various games that we played with the darts. Havent had them long enough to establish durability but they seem quite sturdy.

This is great for the garden - easy and fun to play. Obviously a game to be p[layed in the summer months.
