Just a point of information for any current or potential users who may have read reviews around the fact that this contains Palm Oil. It does, but it is sustainably sourced. Below is the response from the manufacturer from and email sent to them asking about the palm oil;

"We have written assurances that the Sumatran palm oil that we use comes from sustainable managed estates. The growers are working closely with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) on a Palm Roundtable initiative and are founder members of this organising committee. This information is on our website as an FAQ.
The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) works on voluntary guidelines on issues such as Deforestation, Peatland Development and Indigenous Peoples rights. It aims at fulfilling the current market and society demands for stronger sustainability requirements, while maintaining the inclusivity of the standard, in its vision of 100% market transformation.
Formed in 2004, the RSPO includes oil palm producers, palm oil processors or traders, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, banks and investors, environmental or nature conservation NGOs and social or developmental NGOs. It’s aim is to develop and implement global standards for sustainable palm oil.
We believe that the best route forward for the environment, local people and the welfare of wildlife is to chart a sustainable way forward rather than boycott. I am unaware of any NGOs that recommend boycotting as a solution to these problems."

This toothpaste tastes minty fresh, the taste is not too overpowering but distinctly minty. Leaves your mouth and your breath feeling fresh and clean. The toothpaste foams well, much like the more well known brands of toothpaste, so if this is the first time you are trying a more 'natural' toothpaste its a good place to start. I have found since using these and similar toothpastes that my tendency to get mouth ulcers has been greatly reduced.

I switched to this 6 months ago and would never go back to normal toothpaste. I just feel so much better. Really pleasant to use and teeth look better and mouth feels better and joints definitely feel better. I started out when I went on a detox week and they asked me to stop using my toothpaste for the week and it never dawned on me just what nasty stuff there is in regular toothpaste. I seriously wish I'd started using this years ago.

If you have have researched all about fluoride and wish to avoid it, this product is worth considering, as it is the best tasting fluoride-free toothpaste I have found so far.

Minty fresh without the nastiness of commercial toothpastes. It seems to do a better job than Tom's of Maine which seemed to make my teeth sensitive after a while. Using this has made the sensitivity go, yea!

I have been using this toothpaste for almost 3 years now, I had been suffering from frequent sore throats and it wasn't until started a process of elimination that I discovered the cause had been the chemically laden toothpaste found everywhere that was the cause. I would also develop a nasty stubborn dry cough that just wouldn't go away, doctor suggested it was sodium lauryl sulphate in toothpaste that was the case.

Ever since using this natural toothpaste the problem has gone away immediately and never looked back since.

I had decided to try a flouride free toothpaste after reading many articles about the dangers of flouride. Previously I had tried just about every type of toothpaste you could imagine, and had some pretty rubbish results. I have suffered from sensitive teeth, gum erosion and black marks from smoking.

After only two weeks of using this product my teeth are noticeably brighter, the years of sensitivity have been reduced and have almost gone altogether, and the black marks from smoking are slowly but surely disappearing leaving my gums healthier than ever before. Overall my teeth feel 100 times stronger and better than ever.

This toothpaste doesn't lather up or taste the same as the average flouride free toothpaste, and some of the dental issues I had got a little worse before they started to recover, but don't let that put you off because it's easy enough to get used to and the results really are fantastic. I'm sure anything like this would effect different people in different ways, but from my personal experience it works a treat, and I would recommend anybody to at least give it a try!

Keeps my teeth clean and I not adding to the poisonous fluoride that is already in my tap water. This paste is not tested on animals. It foams less than regular paste but you soon get used to that. You only need a small amount. I am fastidious about my teeth and I have no problems with this toothpaste at all. Highly recommended.
