Format:Audio CD
Brilliant album; this is the audio experience of the evolution of guitar music, from 60's precursors of the Shadows to Neil Young grunge.
Every musical influence todays guitarists use is in here.
Barbed Wire is probably the best track; the only down side if you really look is that every track is an instrumental, yet Link has a really good voice, despite the lack of one lung.
Pity about his demise because the Muse would have cause to be worried.

King Of The Wild Guitar I think is one of the best collections of kick-ass Link Wray rock & roll guitar playing! This whole album is great!This is the be all, end all, of gut-driving,heart-pounding, guitar! Classic Link Wray! If you love Link Wray or never heard of him before, and want to find 'the' album that really defines Link's raw, rock'n roll energy, get this album!
