This is a great general collection of 10 of Roger Miller's many many hits, chiefly his biggest hit "King Of The Road," although one of his bigger hits was his version (and as far as many are concerned the original version) of "Me and Bobby McGee," as Bobby was a woman in the lyrics written by Kris Kristofferson.
Either way, it's a good starter or primer for someone who isn't familiar with such a descriptive singer.
About the CD itself: the sound is very clear for an CD 17 years on and all ten tracks are hiss free for the most part.
There may be other collections (and better ones) showcasing more of his talent, but this will satisfy you more than enough to introduce you or someone you know to the simple laid-back sound of Roger Miller.
