I've just finished reading this amazing manga, and I'm still buzzing from the experience! The story of Jing and his lecherous, energy-spitting bird companion Kir is simple and fun, but the artwork makes this tale a feast. There is humour in the details on almost every page, so much so that I kept stopping to admire the scenery! I would have given this five stars, but it is almost OVERWHELMINGLY detailed in places - I found my eyes wandering away from the flow of the story all the time. But don't let it put you off, I think this is a tale that will tolerate multiple readings, and endless amusement for the beautiful art.
