5.0 out of 5 stars A big gorilla, naturally!, 8 Mar 2010
By Bettin@ ""Love Books :) "" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: King Kong (Hardcover)
I was not surprised when I found this book. If Anthony Browne shouldn't attempt to draw "his own" version of King Kong, then I don't know who should! Anthony Browne has a thing for Gorillas. His books and illustrations are usually a bit weird - in a good way. Kids and adults usually will enjoy to "dive into" the pictures and find strange details. This book is a bit different. It's like an illustrated novel or a comic book. I like the way he tells this old story. Keep a look out for Marilyn Monroe starring as the Beauty that brings down the Beast - or at least I think it looks like her:)
