I thoroughly enjoyed One of a Kind, the first book in the Meadows family series. Dana and Kent were incredibly likable characters that you can't help rooting for. What I really appreciated about Dana is that even though she had some "party girl" tendencies, she never came across as a pampered heiress who had no business running her family's media empire. She was well educated, sharp and savvy, and she demonstrated that she could hold her own as CEO of Meadows Media. And what can I say about Kent? He was a hot Brit with "luscious brown skin" and a sexy accent. Yummy!
I love reading about families that are headed by strong, indomitable matriarchs, so Grace Meadows was a real treat. Her relationship with her husband was very endearing, and the rift between her and her sister was intriguing. I hope their strained relationship will be further explored in the next book. I'm definitely looking forward to the continuation of this series!
