Product Description

Murder makes monsters of people. Prosper Snow knows that better than most. Now he's back on the trail of another serial killer, only this time there's far more to the case than meets the eye. Thwarted at every turn, Prosper unwittingly uncovers a human experiment more monstrous than anything he could ever imagine. Now the only way to crack the case is to work from the inside and join a shadowy government agency that operates outside the law. Only he might be too late as the experiment has spiralled out of control.

About the Author

Shaun Jeffrey was brought up in a house in a cemetery, so it was only natural for his prose to stray towards the dark side when he started writing. He has had five novels published, 'Killers', 'The Kult', 'Deadfall', 'Fangtooth' and 'Evilution', and one collection of short stories, 'Voyeurs of Death'. Among his other writing credits are short stories published in Cemetery Dance, Surreal Magazine, Dark Discoveries and Shadowed Realms. The Kult was optioned for film by Gharial Productions.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Great Book!!! 26 Oct 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I was so pleased to meet Prosper Snow again in this his second novel. This time we get to know him a bit better & the story line is very different from his last case. I like they fact that Shaun Jeffreys plot lines are far from the run of the mill really do keep you guessing right to the end.
The book is well written & fast moving, I am sure that like myself many readers will loose sleep wanting to get to the end of this book.
I hope Prosper Snow will be back again soon, I can't wait to see where his new job takes him next.

5.0 out of 5 stars cant wait for more 21 Oct 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
After reading The Kult I didn't think that the next book could get any better but seriously hoped it would at least be as good. Quite often I find the first book in a series to be the best. Well I was blown away with Killers. The story was extremely fast paced and so well written I felt that I was right there in the story. The description was so good I could imagine the smells and the sounds. In my opinion I felt that Killers was even better than The Kult.Pity I cant give more than 5 stars.******

5.0 out of 5 stars More thrills and blood spills 11 Oct 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Following on from the Kult, and living up to the first book in action, thrills, spills (blood and guts) and intelligent story line. It really was a fast moving book, and they way it was written makes it all visible. (Very vivid sometimes Its quite easy to get hooked into the story, and a real page turner.
