This album is great. The whole concept is based on plunderphonics i.e. loads of tunes that have been ripped off and reworked, but this time its got obscene 'Amen' breaks all over it, as well as the 'Babylon' ragga sample that unifies the entire album. It sounds like it could be pretty repetitive, but there's so many loops and pitches and texture to these vox and breaks that it becomes impossible not to be drawn in. Plus, the fact that one tune is based on "all that she wants" by Ace of Base is reason enough to buy this for the comedy value alone. The fact there's one based on a medly of Michael Jackson tracks is another. Oh, and the beats get ridiculously heavy, like a positive union of DJ Remarc and Venetian Snares, so aside from the comedy, it's a quality 'dance' album too!

Brilliant and lunatic 25 Jun 2007
Format:Audio CD
A brilliant concept, using a single ragga sample to unify a set of incredibly imaginative tracks, cutting together a wide range of material, in an extreme over-the-top breakcore context. The Jackson$ track and the Run Out of Ideas track are very funny, but there's such a wealth of imagination in all the tracks it keeps you endlessly involved (if it hasn't done your head in). Any time it seems like it might be repeating itself it goes off on a new tangent, culminating in the fabulous Amen track. Outstanding.

This one was so bad I had to return it... it's basically a rubbish pissed-up students-down-the-pub joke concept sadly turned into an album. Look! It's the Benny Hill theme with an Amen break! Isn't that crazy?! Look! It's a Michael Jackson medley... with a phat Amen over the top! etc.

The same, sad, horrible to hear joke for over half an hour. Total crap.
