Some people - I am told - read the last page of a book to help them decide whether or not to buy it. Well for this book you can just read the fabulously written prologue and you just won't want to put it down. It's the third book I've read from Ms Rowson - and I still can't anticipate the ending - and I couldn't for this book - there I was, thinking I had worked it out - and I was so wrong! Great read.

I wondered if this would come up to the previous high standard of Pauline Rowson's other marine mysteries but I needn't have worried, I wasn't disappointed. In fact I think this is her best yet. The main character is totally engaging and believable, the plot twists and turns and the writing is so sharp and fast that I found I couldn't turn the pages quick enough. When I got to the end I wanted more. This book is for anyone who likes a good action packed thriller. Entertaining and enjoyable.
