"..all good thriller-type stuff. It's a neat,
professional job. Ron has not worked on the tabloids

5.0 out of 5 stars Kill Chase Rocks! 13 Dec 2006
Format:Paperback
Ron Morgans book 'Kill Chase' is a great action thriller, on a par with the likes of Chris Ryan and Jack Higgins, set in the fast moving world of Fleet Street and the Newspaper industry. None should know that world better than Ron, a top Fleet Street Picture Editor for over 30 years. His heroine is Henrietta Fox the very epitome of a woman at the top of her trade in the cut and thrust world of paparazzi and press photographers. I do have to declare an interest here, for as a Fleet Street photographer myself I know only too well how Morgans has captured the excitement as Henrietta embarks on a roller coaster ride that involves her with top Politians, the Royal Family, assassination plots, murder and mayhem from London to Spain, Los Angeles and the Middle East. What an assignment! Mike Moore, Daily Mirror, London

3.0 out of 5 stars A pretty good attempt... 22 Jan 2008
By Doreen M. Luff - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book was a pretty good first attempt for this author. It is about an Ex Detective Inspector for the Scotland Yard. His name is Christian Boyd. He made a mistake that cost him his job at the Yard a long time ago. So, he's made a life in Spain. Him and his one eyed cat. His life is going along fine, until his old boss calls him back to the yard. He must work on a very special case. He must protect the Queen of England from certain death from a madman. There are also mentions of Princess Diana in the book.

Meanwhile, in England, Henrietta Fox, is a paparazzo. She takes pictures of celebrities for the tabloids in London. She will sell any picture that she takes to the highest bidder. She gets a shot of the Prime Minister's fiancee with a mystery man. She finds out that shot is worth alot and they must find out who the man was.

These are two separate stories that go on in the book. The author did a good job of keeping these stories fresh and interesting. He uses some spanish words that he really doesn't explain what they mean. So, the reader is left to find out if they wish to on their own.

It was pretty predictable all in all. He doesn't leave guessing for the reader. They know exactly what's going to happen and who the culprit is.

I would recommend this book to readers who are interested in England and reading a mystery which they know who the bad guy is before it is revealed.
