From Pedro Almodovar, comes the story of Kika, a lively make-up artist involved with a brooding American writer, Nicholas and his narcoleptic son Ramon. Ramon is nice enough, but he keeps passing out and can only get turned-on when he has a camera in his hand. Nicholas has some thoroughly unpleasant nocturnal activities too.....
This bizarre domestic situation is cast into further turmoil when poor Kika is raped by a lencherous escaped convict and th entire event is captured on film, courtest of 'Scarface', the flamboyant presenter of a sick TV show.
As if that was not enough, porn stars, serial killers, transsexuals, lesbian maids, voyeuristic ghouls and incredible costumes by Gaultier and Versace, all pop up at various points, combining to make this film extremely colourful and exciting.
