Product Description
Build your very own TRex model skeleton! First, use the scraping and excavating tools to carefully dig each of the fossilised bones from the plaster block. Use the modelling wax to stick the bones together and fix your dinosaur into an appropriately terrifying pose. Finally, fold together the cardboard display stand so your new Tyrannosaurus Rex can take pride of place in your bedroom.

Fantastic price, took a while to dig out at first, but when bones started to appear it was really quite good fun. It does get quite dusty, so we used an old food tray, to keep the block in while we dug. The skeleton fits together well, and although supplied, we never used the wax to help it stay together. This is a brilliant toy, I would buy again.

I ordered the Kidzlabs T Rex for my 5 year old son. It kept him happy for about 4 hours solid, as he sat there until he had excavated it completely. If you had a child who only concentrates on things for a small amount of time, it could easily last for weeks.
I would highly recommend either doing this outside, or at the very least in a hooverable room as the dust it creates gets absolutely everywhere, and according to the packaging, can stain. But the excavating itself was easy enough for him to do, but just hard enough to keep him interested. He was able to put the parts together himself afterwards and it made a nice little model for him to keep in his room. Well worth the money.

With this toy I tried to show my 6-years old nephew if he really would like to become a paleontologist. He really liked the idea, and spent the whole day digging the dinosaur out of the block. Now I think he changed his mind about becoming a paleontologist, but for a few days he loved it. So, a great game, with the danger of crushing future-job dreams of your kids :-)
