This takes a seven year old about an hour or so to make. It's a fun activity for a child to do on their own or for you to work on together. Pretty much disposable, you are paying for the activity rather than the end product.

Excellent product, I brought it for my 6 year old granddaughter. She enjoyed making it, was just the right level of difficulty for her age. Now it's made she loves putting the various beads & trinkets into it to see the patterns it makes. Still plays with it after a couple of weeks which is a good sign for any toy. So much better than something ready made. As she had to put some effort in to make it she feels it is more 'hers' than if she just took it out of a box as a finished item.
