My kids needed waterproofs for school, but with all of the other money I was spending on uniforms, I didn't want to pay a lot for waterproofs. I ordered these not expecting anything nice, but was pleasantly surprised at how high the quality is. I would recommend them to anyone.

I ordered this for a last minute holiday. It arrived overnight and is very good quality, strong fabric and a good fit. I'll be buying another one for my younger son too. Perfect for rainy school days too.

This is a great value set. Comes in a pouch, and you can easily get the suit back into it.
It's quite roomy, so you fit a thick jumper or fleece underneath.

With my son about to go on a school camping trip, I was looking for some waterproofs for him ‘just in case’ and came across these. Although I hope the weather will be lovely, this country is obviously so unpredictable that you need to cover all possibilities and, should he need to trek through the woods in dripping rain, these are an excellent purchase and great value for money.

The set comes in a zipped up bag, meaning that – if not needed – they can simply stay stashed at the bottom of rucksack without taking up too much room. Also, the size is printed on the bag, so you know at once what is inside, if you intend to pass these on to younger children. They are for ages 9-10 and can be washed, although the instructions point out that you should not add fabric conditioner.

The trousers have an elasticated waist and two slits at the side, so your child can reach into pockets in the trousers they wear underneath it. The bottom of the trousers are not elastic, but there are press-studs, allowing you to tighten the bottoms if wearing with wellingtons, or if it is very cold and wet. The jacket has a reflective patch at the back, plus a smaller one at the front, to help keep your child safe in the dark – plus the material is reflective, meaning your child should be seen clearly by any approaching car headlights. The jacket zips at the front and the elasticated hood can be made snugger with a Velcro strap. There are two pockets, and the jacket is thin and light, so easily carried if it looks like rain. These are excellent value for money, well made and a good buy if you are out and about and want to help keep your child dry.

Having read reviews thought I would order 5/6 for my 4 year old expected it to be too big but it was massive! Think it will fit her when she is about 8! Not tested product have put it away until she grows. Well packaged and product looks good just size not correct.

I bought this set for my nine-year old when he went on an adventure week with the school at the beginning of February. It is a great set at a fantastic price. Good quality and kept him clean and dry. Would definitely recommend.

This item arrived very quickly, and I was very happy with the appearance of the Waterproof Jacket and Trouser set. It seemed to be a good quality thick fabric, which I assumed would be fairly tough. However, my son wore the trousers on his seasonal school walk (which I personally attended) across the muddy/grassy countryside. Within 30 minutes of walking, there were several holes on the inside leg above his welly boots (on both legs). At this point, he had literally just walked beside me - holding my hand! After I'd noticed these holes, he slipped (whilst holding my hand) and went down on one knee in the mud, which resulted in a tear on the knee (I appreciate that falling over whilst wearing waterproofs isn't a good idea, but would expect them to cope with soft, ankle deep mud)! My main complaint is the holes on the inside legs that I cannot understand the cause of! I have just notified the company I purchased this set from, and am awaiting their response. I have awarded three stars purely on good faith that they will accept the fabric is faulty and I'm hoping they will offer a replacement. I wanted to leave this review now, so I can update it when I have had a response, and give a fair review of the product and customer service.
11/02/2013: I emailed the seller late on Friday evening re the waterproof trousers. By Saturday morning I had a response offering a refund for half the purchase price. The seller has been polite and rapid in response, and I have recieved an email from Amazon stating that I have been refunded. In effect I have now paid £5.00 for a nice smart waterproof jacket, which hopefully will wear better. Now I need to buy some more trousers.....
