The Kids Line Bella Lamp is useful in the nursery for late night feeds when the overhead light might be just too bright. Our low volt lamps meet the EU Standards required of lamps for nursery use. The long life halogen bulb required comes in the box. The bulb is covered with a heat resistant acrylic cover so fingers, little or big, are protected. The on/off switch is on the cord of the lamp. The 'harp' style fitting of the shade means it is stable but can also be tilted slightly if you need just that little bit of light on something, like the feeding chair. Hand painted bases add to the appeal and this lamp will be a treasure for many years to come.

The description doesn't mention it's 36 months plus (which it says on the box), and so not suitable for my 14 month old daughter. The bulbs seem dangerous - the bulb cover could be easily removed by little hands, and even at 36 months, I'm surprised that it has passed european safety standards, it needs to be kept well out of the way of children. The one that arrived looked used, there's a bloom on the cover where it looked as though it had been tested or used or something, and the flower at the front had snapped off. I cannot understand how this could have happened just in delivery, as it was packed well in polystyrene. It is pretty, although not as well finished as the picture leads you to believe. I definitely do not recommend, and I am sending it back for a full refund and will be looking for something else.
I wanted to purchase a lamp for my daughters first bedroom.Received it quickly as stated, the lamp is more beautiful than online, glad i purchased it.
