Bought this for my 10 year old after searching all over for something that might inspire him. He likes drawing but gets frustrated when his pictures don't look real enough or how he imagines them to. This has been a great book, it has shown him how to build up a character step by step. He copied them at first but now he applies it to his own ideas.

My 9 year old son loved this book. He worked his way through it page by page and produced some excellent copies. The book helpfully takes you through the stages to produce very good manga pictures. Excellent value!

I bought this book for my sister for her 12th birthday, as I saw that she had formed an interest in this type of drawing. I looked through many on Amazon, using the look inside feature which I found very helpful. After narrowing it down to a few I preferred, this book came out on top as I liked the way it describes how the eyes and mouthes should look when the character is showing different expressions. My sister really enjoyed the present, and when it arrived I was suprised at how many pages the book had. It is very good value for money.
