1.0 out of 5 stars A UK drama teacher's view, 3 Feb 2008
By Drama teacher (Hampshire, England) - See all my reviews
I was disappointed with this book. The monologues, as the title suggests, are written by children, and therefore with not enough skill to produce interesting and challenging pieces for children to read and perform. I also didn't realise from the title (though perhaps should have done) that it is American, so really not suitable for British children as the language and spelling is unfamiliar. I've kept this book on my shelf but I don't expect I'll use it.
