This is the best swaddle I have used. It is much better than using a triangle of cloth. My baby always managed to get her arms out of the cloth wrap but the kiddopotamus is better able to restrain windmilling arms! It washes well - the velco doesn't deteriorate. There is a peep hole in the back to check the nappy (so long as baby is not in an all in one!) plus you can do a change without releasing the arms if you want.

We have been using this swaddle since our baby was 11 weeks old. we had the grobag swaddle which was good when he was say 2 weeks old but as soon as he got a bit figety he got out of it in 10 seconds flat. The kiddopotamus is easy to use and has strong velcro which stays sticky after washing. Our LO can usually fall asleep on his own and sleeps much better with this product. Great for budding houdinis.

The cloth quality is very poor. IT is very rough and baby does not like the touch also. However, the size fits here very well. So, all in all, if a good quality cloth was used to stich the swaddler, then it would have been 5 star.

Brilliant!

Gave us a full night's sleep
