My 4 year old son was given this as a Christmas present.

He loves it.

Within a day he'd learned how to copy the pictures in the leaflet and was able to build the various "bugs" himself.

From then he let his imagination roam and built a range of monsters.

It's now the beginning of March and he's still playing with it on an almost daily basis.

It's kept his attention.
It's also quite good fun for me to play with him, so that's a bonus.
I'd say its very good value indeed.
