I bought a similar product at the weekend and it has been great fun. Other reviewers have warned of the danger of these things "exploding" out of the packaging & not being able to fold them down - yes this is sort-of the case, but the warning should be taken with a pinch of salt and a little common sense. The structures act like springs - fore-warned is fore-armed; please don't be scared from buying one of these, they're great value for the fun. The "buildings" should fold flat without any hassle, the tunnel is a bit like a canned-spring-snake. Packing everything away can require a knack; folding and twisting - without breaking.

I bought this for my 2 year old nephew for Christmas, he thought it was fantastic fun and so did I. Be warned that while the tunnel is big enough to fit an adult through it is a tight squeeze and you're left very vunerable to tickling if you get stuck half way through

Yes it does spring open rather boisterously, it also states this clearly on the outside of the box, just don't stand right next to anything breakable when opening it. What this means is that it requires no work to put together, simply undo the straps and you're suddenly holding a fully assembled tent. To fold it up again just follow the pictures, I recommend practicing several times with the smaller round tent to get the hang of the technique so that you know what you're doing before trying the big tent, it does all fit back in the box just fine.

It's a bit early to say anything about durability, it looked reasonably well made and it's a very simple design so there's not many ways it could break. I won't pretend it's very educational, but it is really good fun, great for group play, requires extremely little effort to get out and put away given the size of it, and folds away neatly for easy storage.

I just bought this product for my son, and have to say that I am VERY disappointed with the quality. First of all, the items practically explode when you take them out of the box - very dangerous. If you do buy it, be sure you don't open it around your little ones. Secondly, they are absolutely impossible to get back into the box, or into a collapsed state for storage. The instructions are impossible to decipher, and from what I can tell, just don't work. There is also no mechanism for attaching the three bits together - which makes them all rather useless, I think.

My son enjoyed crawling through the tunnel, but I am sure I could have found just a tunnel for much less than I paid for this set.
