Product Description

Product Description

With worldwide sales of more than 22 million albums and an international audience, INXS were one of the biggest bands in the world. On 22 November 1997 the death of Michael Hutchence brought the INXS story, or part of it, to a halt. This book puts his mysterious death in perspective. It tracks the story of the six suburban boys who achieved fame and fortune and along the way acquired a tase for the high life.

Format:Paperback
This book is pretty much the same as Mike Gee's look into Michael's life and the career of INXS. It has different photos but I am anxiously awaiting the new release of Michael's mother and sister's book-Just a man! At least we will get an in depth view of Michael as a person and not just known as INXS!

Great read 18 May 2009
Format:Paperback
Being an INXS fan for almost 20 years i kept away from unauthorized biographies till a few months back. I decide to give Ed St. John's book a go and havent had any regrets. It's a really great inside to Michael/INXS's story, i see it as a good complement to their official biography "Story to story". At least if you read it as a book that carry a lot of the writter's opinions. I would advice this book to any INXS fan or anyone who likes to read about bands.

Another Fantastic Michael Hutchence Read! 14 April 2010
By Sunnfllower - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I loved this book & found it very beneficial to understanding the tragic events of what led up to Michael Hutchence's tragic suicide in Nov. of 1997. He was the greatest singer of all time (in my opinion lol) & a great songwriter as well. I've always believed he just got caught up in a moment of time that he could not get out of. I think if he could go back & do things differently, he would still be with us. His death left such devastation for so many many people that loved him. He was a sweet & lovable person & I wish his daughter Tiger that looks just like him could have known her great Daddy. RIP Michael John Hutchence. You will be forever missed.
