I ordered a few of these for my company's smart phones. They aren't necessarily bad, but if you do a lot of physical work, or moving in and out of tight areas, the plastic clip won't hold up. If too much pressure is put on the clip's rotary part, from something catching the holder while on your belt or some similar resulting circumstance, the round part of where the clip and holder meet breaks and the holder, along with it's contents, will say its goodbyes and depart company in favor of the ground where you once walked. This sounds jerry-rigged, but I took two-part epoxy and "welded" the seem together where the plastic hinge is. It no longer swivels, but it no longer is as fragile.
The canvas part of the holder is good, as is the soft fabric innards. The flap is held closed by Velcro. The sides have an elastic-fabric band that is sewn between the front and rear canvas parts, which helps hold a phone tight, depending on its size. Mine is thin, but long. The business card slots are useless in my opinion unless you work in an office or similar sterile environment. A lot of body movement, and dirty, dusty, wet or humid conditions render your cards bent, or in other-than-presentable condition.
In all, it really isn't any worse than the $20 leather-lookalike holders at the cellular company stores. The plastic hinge is the same... none of them that I could find where made of anything more substantial than poly-vinyl, plastic, or similar material. This one is just a little less expensive.
