I bought this after connecting a PC to my new 42" TV. I owned a Microsoft wireless keyboard of standard size which was okay for the job, but too bulky. This keyboard is the same size as a laptop keyboard which makes it much lighter and more comfortable to use if you're sat on a sofa or armchair - infact it rests nicely on the arm of them, or on your lap without becoming too cumbersome. The wireless adapter that connects the keyboard to your PC was a plug a play type, I had eveything operational in literally two clicks. Another nice touch is that the keyboard switches itself off after five minutes of inactivity; no doubt saving us all £'s in wasted batteries.... to switch it back on you simply press any key. I've had no problems whatsoever using it from anywhere in my lounge, so there are no connectivity issues. The built-in touch pad eliminates the need for a mouse and it even has a scroller incorporated into the touch pad.

All in all, a great bit of kit and at £25 it comes through with flying colours as top value too..... Highly recommended.

This keyboard has experienced a price hike, it has up by more than £10 pounds since I bought it...

But anyway, although not Bluetooth this is a perfect keyboard to use with your ps3, it works straight away, no need to configure it, just plug in the little dongle and off you go.

It also works as you would expect it to with a PC.

But I am selling this to ps3 users, forget the overpriced Bluetooth keyboards and go for this.

It has keys that I call "Laptop" keys, they are nice and flat, and I think much more responsive. The touch pad works wonderfully, and has a little scroll section down the side for easy browsing.

It is small, sleeks, and compact. It also doesn't feel very cheap.

By the way, you may worry about it not having a power button...but it turns itself off after 5 minutes of no use. Perfect for the batteries!

I am actually using the keyboard right now through my ps3 to write this review.

10/10

I have a 37" Philips TV and Dell Inspiron Laptop computer running VISTA... yes VISTA!!!! I put this on my 'wishlist' for my birthday by mistake and it just arrived today!

I Plugged in the USB stick, waited 1 min and it self-installed the driver software. I put the batteries in the keyboard and pressed the little button on the USB stick and off i went 2 minutes later... well... to be honest, it didn't even take 2 minutes, it was less.

I use a regular HDMI cable bought from Amazon to link the laptop to the TV. You can get decent ones for less than £4 on here now! The picture quality is great!

Yes... i did get the problem of numbers typing when i pressed certain letters, but that was resolved by someone putting in their review the following - PRESS THE "FN" KEY, HOLD THIS DOWN AND THEN PRESS THE "NumLK" KEY and your problem is fixed!!!

Amazing little gadget and well impressed with it. There's no time delay between pressing the key and it coming up on the TV screen. My laptop is approx. 3m away from the keyboard!

I intend to play all my music and watch all my dvd's from my laptop through the TV and use this little gadget as a mobile remote!!!

Buy one and you won't be dissapointed - VISTA compatible!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a teacher and use this to control my laptop which is attached to a projector. I sit 25 feet from my laptop and it works great!

At this price it's a steal - the portable functionality and a reasonable quality feel for £25 is outstanding. It has worked faultlessly on several Vista machines - now if only this was the case for most peripherals!

My criticisms:

The track pad is not to my taste - a little slow, but acceptable, and, as mentioned by another reviewer, not adjustable.
The keys are a bit 'bouncy'.
I would much prefer it if the USB transmitter had a dock in the keyboard which turned it off - you know, the way, wireless mice work. I know I'm going to lose it.

You'd never use it in preference to your laptop's keyboard and mouse but until they make them detachable and able to transmit wirelessly, this is a great solution.

I bought this keyboard a few weeks back. Overall, I had no problems installing it, it has worked well since then. Here are my impressions.

Pro:
- Small keyboard. Because it has no NumPad field, the mouse sits close to the keys which is great
- Keys themselves have a great touch and feel, very nice stuff
- The built-in pad and buttons work well
- Installation was simple plug-and play, not problems at all

Cons:
- Function key is at the very bottom left. Some people (like me) would very much like to have the Control key there
- The return and backspace buttons are very small and certainly smaller than on a normal notebook keypad. This leads to me hitting the buttons next to them quite frequently
- There is no extra driver for this keypad. This means that I cannot, for example, change the settings of the built-in touchpad. Given this keypad is very small, I find myself constantly and unintentionally 'tapping' the touchpad which leads to the curser appearing somewhere else on the screen in the middle of typing, Very annoying this.
- The keypad is wireless. It is switching itself off when it is not used (to safe battery). When I start typing, I need to hit a key and wait a few seconds before it activates itself, this is also very annoing (why is the no cable version of this?)

Overall, this is a good keypad with a few annoying features. If you can live with these limitations, go ahead and buy it.
