Keysonic ACK-540RF+ Black Wireless Mini Keyboard with Integrated Smart Touchpad I have had this keyboard over for a month now and after some of the negative feedback I was a bit apprehensive about parting with my cash.
Firstly the battery life is fine(not replaced yet), just don't leave anything on top of it, turn it off when you are finished and it should last.
Secondly the keyboard layout is great and responsive. I was a bit nervous as 25% of the enter(return) button is missing but I always hit it when required. I usually find my Del(delete) key at the top right of my keyboard, but this particlar board has has it to the bottom right next to the arrow keys.
The track pad is responsive and although the photographs seem to indicate that there is a built in page up/down on the track pad, there is no such thing. There is pgUp/PgDn keys if required to the right of the board. This particular also model has left and right click buttons below the pad.
It is a solid keyboard with solid keys and has a nice Matt Black finish so will go well with most black entertainement devices. I tried it on my PS3 and it appeared to work fine.
Although there is no number key pad, if you select Num Lock you can have a built in number pad which runs between the letter "M" & the number "0" which are coloured in blue next to the characters.
On the bottom it has 2 flips to give it an angle if you are working on flat surface. It also has an on/off switch & a pairing button. To avoid the need for pairing everytime, ensure the keyboard is off, switch on your computer, then your switch on your keysonic once your operating system has fully booted and it should sink straight away.
Well worth the 5 stars and the investment.
