Nice solid chunky pedal with lovely thick rubber coating on upper and lower side for foot and floor that reduces slipping and restricts the thing moving around as much as possible short of nailing it down. It feels like it will last, even if you do get a fit of 'over-expressiveness.' Has a polarity reverse switch (I think - does anybody know what happens if you get the polarity wrong?)
It's cheaper by quite a bit than the Casio pedal I was offered (why do big corporations make themselves look greedy and silly by making you buy an essential component as a supposedly-optional extra? It doesn't do them any good in the end.)
Has a good positive feel to it in use.
One slight down minor downside is the mildly audible click it makes in use. While this would not matter during a PA-amplified gig, it's just a tiny bit irritating when you're practising, as you actually become aware of your pedal-action, which I find offputting. I thought of trying a spot of WD40 on this, but it's actually inside and coming from the switch mechanism itself, not the hinge.
Overall, however, definitely does the business Casio should have. I presume it's just as good on other keyboards.
