Manchester born Kevin Cummins has an international reputation as one of the world's leading photographers.
His iconic portraits of rock musicians as diverse as Joy Division, The Smiths, Manic Street Preachers, Courtney Love and David Bowie have graced magazine covers, galleries and bedroom walls the world over and are included in the collection of The National Portrait Gallery and The V&A amongst others.
Kevin has published five critically acclaimed monographs to date. The sixth: Sometimes the Sky's Too Bright, a Manic Street Preachers collection, is due for publication in March 2012. Furthermore, his award-winning Manchester monograph: Looking For the Light Through the Pouring Rain, will be issued in softback with a new jacket by Faber and Faber in May 2012
He has lived in London since 1987 but retains strong links with the North West of England.
