This is the second book in the Song of the Arkafina series. It's pretty exciting reading, but you'll be totally lost if you don't read Heart of Hythea [Song of the Arkafina #1] first. I loved the main character, Gwenn Faircrow, and her amazing sword-fighting skills. Although she starts the story as a spoiled brat, she learns a lot about kindness and freedom, and begins to grow up. I'd recommend this book for older teenage girls to adults. Well worth reading!
