Keoma:
This was one of the last Spaghetti Westerns ever made and its very different from any you will ever see. The ghostly atmosphere is amazing and even though the music is nothing special it suits the film very well. The slow motion action scenes are brillaint and this is a must see for Spaghetti Western fans. Franco Nero, Woody Strode and William Berger are all brilliant in their roles. If you like this film I advise you checkout A Man Called Blade (AKA Mannaja) which is another very good Spaghetti Western which has a very similar feel to this movie. Texas Adios: This is another very good Spaghetti Western with Franco Nero. He plays A sheriff who along with his younger brother go to mexico to bring back the man responsible for the murder of there father. Theres alot of action and a nice music score by Anton Abril. Fernando Baldi was allways a capable director and he gets the best out of his actors and develops the story well even if it does get abit boring in the middle. This is a must buy boxset of two classic Franco Nero films, if you like these I advice you buy Django, Companeros and Mercenary. All three are directed by Sergio Corbucci.

one the best spaghetti westerns,

Keoma is an excellent addition to the spaghetti western genre. It is stylishly directed with some brilliant slow motion sequences. The only thing wrong with the film is the awful music score from the usually reliable De Angelis brothers which is just absolutely painful to listen to (their score for Sergio Martinos A Man Called Blade is just as bad).
The dvd also includes a bonus disc containing Fredinaldo Baldis Texas Addios starring Franco Nero which is quite boring and nothing to write home about. Keoma is presented in anamorphic widescreen (2:35.1) but the picture quality is pretty bad, however the dvd makes up for this with some nice extras including an interview with director Enzo G Catellari, an introduction from cult director Alex Cox,the films trailer and bonus trailers for A bullet for the General,Django,DjangoKill!.Texas Addios is widescreen anamorphic 2:35.1 and the only extra is the trailer
