I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't for the clumsy way you have to dismantle the lid to clean it. Maybe I've got one that's particularly difficult and hopefully it will loosen as it gets used but at the moment it's a real pain trying to get the rubber seal from the lid, especially when it's got food all over it.

Other than that it's a brilliant blender, simple to use and blends really well. Strong construction and one hopefully that will last for years. Expensive but then I've bought ones that have been far cheaper that have either fallen apart within a few months or don't do what they say they can do. Would definitely buy this again but lid assembly could do with a redesign.

I bought this blender to go with my Kenwood retro food mixer. The price was a little steep, but the kitchen aid one was even dearer. I have only made smoothies for now and it does that very well. I like the way you can remove the blades for cleaning. I do worry about the weight of the glass jug, I can be slightly careless and I am worried about dropping it. I do like it and I am sure it will last a long time, it feels sturdy enough.

Good quality, sturdy and robust construction. wonderful design. Works well and is easy to clean - except for the inner seal removal from the inside of the lid. That removal operation is very stiff - another reviewer commented on exactly the same difficulty.

The despatch from seller was super speedy - I received it within 2 days of ordering and the packaging etc was perfect.

Well worth the money spent - I recommend this blender.
