We had this given to us at christmas. It is a great looking toaster, unfortunately it takes a very long time to brown, even without the bread being frozen. Plus when you got one side done the way you like, the other side was either burnt or not done. Shame

    Worst ever 3 Mar 2008
This toaster is honestly the worst toaster i've ever had.

Toasting takes an age, The filaments dont glow fully. One side of the filament glows, the other doesnt. it is extremely poor quality.

I only googled this review because i was looking for Kenwoods telephone number to try and send it back. It was a gift for christmas. And im afraid i'll be off to tesco's for a basic Hinari that works fine.

    Disappointed 28 Feb 2008
    By Amibs
Got given this toaster as a xmas present. Firstly, it is quite large, but the main problem is it doesn't seem to like doing only one slice of bread. I put 3 slices of fresh bread in it, two were 'ok' but the 3rd slice was slightly brown on one side but not done on other. Also have to turn it up quite high. When I put a pop tart in it, it just burnt the top edge, and nothing else was browned, had to finish it off under the grill. I plan to give this toaster away and buy a different one.

Dreadful toaster. I paid £25 and thought I was getting a good deal as Kenwood is a well known name. One of the worst products I have ever used. Read more

I wish I had read reviews on this 'toaster', as I would not have made the purchase, however it was an impulse buy as it was half price in the sales. Read more

    £15 from the market!
Yes, I only paid £15 at the Birmingham market and took a chance with this one... little realising I could have paid the full price and got an equally poor performing toaster! Read more

    Awful awful toaster
It is incredible that such an inefficient and awful toaster can be purchased in this day and age. Looks great but is dreadful at doing the job for which it was designed. Read more

Under no circumstances be tempted to purchace this toaster
If they reduce the price of this toaster, to the point at which they pay you to take it away refuse it! It is an absolutely dreadful product.

    Utterly shocking
This machine leaves me wondering whether Kenwood actually tested the product on bread. Sure it's ok to look at, but quite simply it's a dreadful toasting toaster! Read more
