Toast-tastic 9 Nov 2009
By G. Huke
Large slots enable thick or long bread to be toasted easily - toasting quality is good and even and the lift and view is fantastic - this feature is normally only found on £150 Dualit toasters - so to find it on a £40 Kenwood is great. Rather than slamming the lever down to turn the thing on like cheaper toasters, you simply place the bread in the slot and push the power button which illuminates in a funky blue colour - you're then free to inspect the toast at any point in the toasting cycle by lifting the lever up - making it much easier to get the perfect brown finish. Highly recommened, no hint of the problems experienced above.

lovely toast! 6 Mar 2010
We bought this toaster a few months ago, wanting to upgrade our two slice to a four slice one - no more cold toast when eating breakfast together! So far it has been great. Fits very chunky bread, bagels, mini croissants, and all sorts I don't think we saw a toaster with wider slots. Also great for tall slices -cook sideways. I was concerned it may not fit two normal size slices in each slot, but it does almost always. The toast is consistently yummy - as good as with a dualit toaster. We bought it when it coast way more and thought that was good value for money, even better now!! Would utterly recommend it.Kenwood Miro TTM333 Brushed Metal Toaster, 4 Slice

Had this toaster for 9 months now
Has large wide slots, so easily handles thick or long bread upto 4 slices, toasted sandwiches and hot cross buns, bagels, muffins etc. and always toasts evenly

I like the fact you just place the bread in the slots and there's no handle to push down like a lot of toasters. Then you just press the button to start it toasting. It has 2 other buttons - defrost (for frozen bread) and reheat.

The "lift and view" is a nice feature - u can life the lever at any time during the toasting cycle letting you inspect the item being toasted by lifting the lever up without cancelling the toasting - making it much easier to get the perfect brown finish.

Two things to note that it doesn't feature are - the toaster doesn't stay cool touch when toasting, and it can't do just 2 slices - both slots always come on together.
It doesn't have a stay warm feature but saying that, because the toast doesn't "pop-up" it will stay warm for a while because it remains inside the toaster when done toasting. It does also have a "reheat" button.

I highly recommend it too - matches nicely with my stainless steel kettle and have had no problems with it at all.

good size
Nice toaster, I like the adjustable width and the length of the slots. One think I would like better is to be able to switch on one side only. Other than that great toaster.
