I rate this a High 5-star product: It does all it says and more... The first electric toaster I've ever owned that actually browns the toast evenly! Plus, the 'pop-up-and-look' factor (without disturbing the timer) is very useful when getting used to the various browning levels... and because I frequently need just one slice of toast - the single-slot factor is a godsend, and works perfectly every time.

I bought this toaster for the one slot / eco option as I often only do one slice of toast. Very easy, press one button. However, I am also pleasantly surprised that the toaster function is better than my previous Morphy Richards toaster. The browning is much more even. The ability to check the toast without resetting is great if you're toasting something you don't toast very often.

Based upon the three of these toasters I had, don't buy one. None lasted for more than a month with only occasional use and all tripped the ring main circuit breaker when they failed.
Could have been a bad batch I suppose.
Amazon's customer service was, as ever, excellent. Two replacements and a refund with no fuss.

very slow, uneven heating elements
This toaster's going back to the shop -- very slow to heat and the inner heating strips don't glow. Apart from that, great, but basically, no good.

Very Good Toaster
The Toaster is working very well since receving it and it is an attractive design and very fuel efficient, as it only toasts one slice at a time if that is what is required.
