Looking for a replacement toaster for this mundane piece of kitchen equipment, I spotted this Kenwood toaster. It has proved to be the best toaster we have had. Reliable, doesn't need constant dial adjustment and toasts evenly. I particularly like the "peep" feature where you can lift the toast to see it's progress without switching off. A good buy.

I cooks my toast, they go brown on either side - the little cage they send to dangle stuff in is a real pain to store away somewhere
