I would recommend buying a bucket and a hammer before this. The juicable material is flung to the side before it gets a chance to be juiced up leaving obvious juicable material in the bin and only a wee bit of juice in the bottom. I really do wonder how this qualifies as a juicer as it doesn't work as one. How much juice do you have to produce to be classified as a juicer as selling a bucket and hammer would produce more juice.

This product is not worthy of the Kenwood range. My friend has a different type of Kenwood mixer and can use the 'non-stop centrifugal juicer' which has a seperate part to extract the waste neatly into a bowl and another part for the juice to be collected. Why does the Kenwood Prospero not have the same?? This equipment is not only extremely noisy but absolutely useless. Out of 5 pounds of apples I got under half a glass of juice and had to stop after every apple to extract the pulp before moving onto the next apple. Not worth the trouble. Not blaming the suppliers (still waiting for a refund) but Kenwood who obviously have not tested this appliance. Recommendation - do not buy.
