I purchased this kettle to replace my Siemens Kettle which I hated. It was a nice looking kettle but the spout design was terrible, resulting in boiling water pouring out in every direction except the one you wanted it to go in. This kettle looks fabulous on your worksurface; can be filled by pouring the water in through the spout or by removing the lid; has a clear water level viewer above the on/off switch and when pouring the boiled water it actually comes out of the spout in one direction. I cannot praise this kettle enough.

Looks good, isn't obnoxiously loud, easy to clean. Personally I'm not too keen on the blue light on the on/off switch, the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5.
