Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Looking for an everyday mixer to prepare cakes, pastries and dough? Want to bring a touch of flair to your kitchen at the same time? Look no further than the Kenwood MX275 Patissier mixer with Kenwood's famous planetary movement.

A test of good performance is how well the ingredients are mixed and Kenwood’s famous planetary mixing action will ensure there are no ingredients left in the stainless steel bowl. Kenwood bowl tools move in a planetary way, meaning that whilst the beater is revolving in one direction, the socket turns in the opposite direction, ensuring that all of the mixture is picked up from around the bowl, resulting in perfect and thorough mixing.

The Patissier is supplied with three bowl tools for mixing, kneading and whisking and a choice of 12 speeds makes it very versatile.

Perfectly compliment your kitchen style with Kenwood’s Patissier mixer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely retro stand mixer, 22 Oct 2005
By Mrs. M. Daly "Milly" - See all my reviews
    (REAL NAME)
I too had been longing for a kitchenaid mixer, but couldn't resist the styling of the kenwood patissier. It has a real retro feel! I have used it to whisk egg whites, beat batter, cream butter and sugar, and to knead bread dough. Its 400 watt motor is quite powerful and well up to any of these tasks. It also has strong rubber grips on the base which anchors it to the worktop, which means you don't have to stand guard over it!
The attachments and bowl are dishwasher-friendly, and the machine itself is easy to wipe clean.
All in all the patissier looks fantastic and does what it claims to do, and for considerably less money than the kitchenaid.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!! Better than Kitchenaid!!, 9 Oct 2008
By E. Porter (N Ireland) - See all my reviews
    (REAL NAME)
I have just purchased this mixer after many, many weeks of indecision - I really wanted a kitchenaid as they are supposed to be the best but the classic version of the kitchenaid doesn't have a handle on the bowl. To get a handle you would have to get the artisan version which is over £300. And a bowl with a handle would be so much more user friendly and for this kind of money I think a handle is a requirement and not a luxury!! So I came across this mixer which has everything - 3 attachments, handle on bowl, powerful motor - in fact more powerful than the classic kitchenaid, looks really nice - I think it actually looks better than the kitchenaid. And I really liked the colour - cream fits in better with my kitchen than white. And I have now used it and I am not disappointed. Its really really great and I am so chuffed with it!

    5.0 out of 5 stars Wow what a star, 27 April 2005
By Iggy (Rutland UK) - See all my reviews
I went out thinking I wanted a Kitchen Aids mixer,
In the shop I saw this amazing looking item in a much nicer colour. - More subtle than the brash harsh colours you normally get. I found out it was more powerfull than the Kitchen aid one at 400 Watts and has a larger bowl, 4 Litre!
It has special gadgets for whisking cream or eggs, making dough or cakes and pastry.
The recipe book has loads of great ideas and and some really tasty cakes - with VERY easy instructions on how to make them!
So imagine my delight that it is also CHEAPER!

I love it and my sister is going to get on as well after she saw mine!
