I ordered a Kenwood HM326 hand mixer, as a replacement for a Moulinex which I had had for about 20 years. Delivery and packaging were excellent, but unfortunately when I inserted the beaters and then tried to eject them the whole machine fell to pieces! I must say that Amazon were extremely prompt in refunding my payment.

After just over a year, having it used it about 10 times, this machine stppped working during mixing buttercream. On taking it apart, the plastic cogs have stripped - and is now useless! My last Kenwood mixer lasted 35 years!
The switch is poor, motor too noisy and the numbers on the switch rubbed off on the 2nd use. I am SO disappointed in Kenwood, I think they have lost their quality. Don't buy this machine, it is cheaply built.

Kenwood 3 speed mixer
The mixer arrived when stated and it works fine, blades are quite flimsy but work OK. For a reasonably priced item they do exactly what you want.

Powerful and Compact
Lovely little mixer with beater and an extra pair of dough hooks. Also has a slight 'case' for them which can be attached onto the base of the mixer when not in use. Read more

i love it

Don't recommend
Great at first, but even after moderate use, the beaters locked after a year and a 1/2 so is no longer unusable.
