I looked into many hand blenders when my Breville jug blender warped after i blitzed too much hot soup in it....ooops. I originally was only looking for a stick blender, so was looking at Bamix, Kenwood, RobotCoupe and the likes. Then i thought i would like one with a bowl attachment for processing stuff. I'm always wary of things that try and do too many tasks and are a bit rubbish at them all. I have to say though that i love the size of the bowl, to the folk that say it's too big, it mentions the capacity in the description. So far i have blitzed lentil soup with chunky tough bacon no problem, zapped bread crumbs and made pate/terrine's, with the food processor bit. I have used Magimixes loads and while not as good, it comes very close. The balloon whisk is fine, the milk frother is great, again not as good as a steamer but nice foamy flat whites are a result. Haven't used the grater thing, it definitely would not grate parmigiano though, Build quality is as Kenwood...Superb, like all good kitchen stuff it's heavy. Very happy overall. Next on my list Kmix mixer.
