This review is from: Kenwood FP620 Food Processor (White) (Kitchen & Home)
This was bought as a gift for a very good friend for his 60th birthday and he is over the moon with it. He has never been able to make decent pastry but he can now with the Kenwood. He has also used the cutting discs and is very happy with the product. I also have a Kenwood which I have owned for 20 years and it still gives excellent service.

This review is from: Kenwood FP620 Food Processor (White) (Kitchen & Home)
Our previous model was a Braun Multipractic that had been used regularly for about 18 years or so without any serious problems; understandably after so much use, the motor started to give a few problems so we looked for a replacement. The Braun had been provided with a large variety of 'extra' tools, some of which had never been used, so the requirement for a large range of gadgets was removed from our search criteria. Essentially what we wanted was a processor that 'did the basics' reliably. We looked at the possibility of a new Braun but the current high price was the deciding factor why we discounted the Braun range of products. We have other Kenwood appliances that have performed well so, having read the predominantly favourable reviews, we decided to take a chance on the FP620.
The FP620 processor is equipped with just the right quantity of tools to do most of the basics needed in the average domestic kitchen and its 700W motor seems to have sufficient power to promote confidence in its ability to perform well. Our only concern to date, albeit relatively minor, is that the 'whisks' provided with the appliance appear a little flimsy. Overall, whilst the build quality of the FP620 is nothing like as good as the Braun and is unlikely to last as long as its predecessor, it cost less than half the price and to date seems to be performing very much in line with our expectations.
