With a powerful 1.5 kW motor and 6.7 Litre stainless steel bowl, the Kenwood Major is a serious machine for those who want to deliver expert results every time.

The Kenwood Major Titanium KM023 Mega Pack includes a wide range of attachments, including a 1.5 Litre stainless steel liquidiser, food processor, Multi Mill, Mincer and Citrus Juicer. The pack also includes scales and four dishwasher safe bowl tools for specific baking tasks.

The K Beater, dough hook and whisk bowl tools are made of the finest quality cast stainless steel and the unique Flexi Beater, with its flexible rubber edge, is designed with soft cake mixes in mind.

A test of good performance is how well the ingredients are mixed in the bowl. While most beaters rotate in a circular motion, the Kenwood bowl tools move in a planetary way, making sure all the mixture is picked up from the bowl, resulting in perfect and thorough mixing.

    I've wanted a good Kenwood for many years. Having finally got the readies together, I searched for the best deal and plumped for this one. The additional attachments effectively give you a complete set of food processing equipment in one go. It's certainly a great choice for the serious cook. Each component does exactly what it is meant to do. The materials have a real feel of quality about them and so far they are standing up to the punishment I'm giving them. I'm finally able to produce the food I've always been able to do, but so much more easily and quickly. If you hate washing up, don't bother; it takes a bit of time to clean things after use. If you only make special things once in a blue moon, do it by hand. However, if you really love to prepare and cook good food, scrimp and save for this, you will not be disappointed; even if you do have to personalise some of the tools for use(the blades will need altering slightly which is really simple to do).

    This is a very solidly built machine. Metal parts that probably result that my grand children will be using the maschine. Powerful engine. Large bowl. My only dislike about the product is that if you do small doughs like a "pre dough" when making sourbread it does not mix the dough well because of the small size and the large bowl. I have adjusted mixer so that it goes to the bottom but it does not go as close as needed to mix all the dough on the sides of the bowl. If you have a larger dough this is of course not a problem. The other minor thing is the placement of the electrical cord very close to the bottom of the machine so very easily the wire ends up between the maschine and the surface it stands on and since the maschine is heavy in the end the wire might be damaged if you are not careful and makes sure it does not get squeezed. I would have expected that the dough mixing on small doughs where better so this is a disappointment but my previous Braun Multimixer machine had the same problem...

    Got a trusty A901 as a wedding pressie in 1976, last year it packed up! Had always hankered after a Major so smiled sweetly at the bank manager and bought the KM023. What a brilliant machine.
    Have been making my own sausages for years, and this machine makes that task a doddle. Cakes, bread etc are simple and a joy to make. However, a downside - (if there is one), If you are used to a basic smaller food mixer, beware. Went to buy some chopped almonds, but the supermarket never had any so bought whole almonds, popped them into the multi-mill attachment to chop them, 10 seconds later I was the proud owner of totally ground almonds!! This machine works quicker and more effectively than the A701/901 so bear this in mind when chopping/liquidising etc, but it is something we'll get used to.
    I cannot rate this mixer highly enough and would recommend it to any serious cook. It looks the part, works brilliantly and most parts are dishwasher proof!
