Opening cans is quicker and easier with the Kenwood CO606. This three-in-one can opener can open most shapes and sizes of can, up to 1.2 kg, and operates hands-free because the can is locked into the machine.
To operate the CO606, simply hold the can under the guide pin and press the lever lightly and the self-starting blade will pierce it and commence cutting. The can remains fixed in position with the magnet resting against the lid until the can is open, when the motor will automatically stop, while retaining the can and lid safely in place.
The Kenwood CO606 has non-slip feet and the blade can be removed for easy cleaning. It is a three-in-one tool that also features a bottle opener and knife sharpener, making it a handy and functional accessory for your kitchen--ideal for time savers and those who have difficulty working a manual can opener.

I bought this can opener about ten months ago!! Have used and used it. The hands free bit is great, just press down and let it go, then the magnet grabs the lid!!!! Wouldn't be without it. I will say that getting the tin in position took some practice but since then I haven't looked back. Well done Kenwood!!!!!!

this opener is brilliant, i never used electric openers b4, did not even know they exist. my manual opener was getting too old and lost its sharpness, so i updated it to this one. i got hang of it straight away, it is easy to use, quick and mess-free. buy it and make ur life easier.

Quite simply, I've had an electric can opener for 10 years now and myself, I would be without one in my house. I've upgraded from the white one I had before and this Chrome Effect one fits in nicely in my kitchen. The knife sharpener comes in handier than you might imagine it would and the bottle opener too....I keep this can opener near my cooker hob, and it's amazing how often I need to use it to take all the bottle tops off straight from the fridge just before I also serve the food.It would be dishonest to give this little piece of kitchen equipment anything less than the 5 stars treatment.....
