I have had the Frothie maker for quite a while now, shortly after it came out, and must say it has proven to make excellent drinks!
My special 'latte's with Lindt chocolate just melt in your mouth like a little piece of paradise ;). Its hot toddies are another delight in the colder winter days.
However, the cleaning of the goblet proves to be a little unpractical as it quite strongly insists on not dipping the bottom of it in water. This leads me to the only real weakness of the Frothie, the inside of the Jug:
As someone earlier in these posts mentioned (thanks a lot for that!), the plastic covering seems to be peeling off, and it seems to be a common issue with the Frothie. Now I have just gotten off the phone with Kenwood, very quick call (lasted less than 5 minutes including holding), no unusal questions asked, and they will send me a replacement jug as part of the guarantee! This has definately shown me that I am valued as a customer!!!
And a little tip. If you like your real chocolate mixed with your milk, try heating the milk for a short while in the Frothie, so it starts being hot, then only add the chocolate with the machine switched off, wait a few minutes and put it back on. The chocolate should have melted by then, avoiding the loud 'clacking' sound it does when you put it back on.
