Great gadget, makes light work of chopping/blitzing. Small enough to put in a cupboard easily, but looks good on the work top too.

Though this chopper has a somewhat bigger capacity than the Kenwood CH180 it costs considerably more and doesn't do a better job than the CH180. The one thing it will do that the CH180 cannot do is chop ice.
It is overall much bigger and therefore harder to store.
Though it has 2 blades it cannot reduce things to a very fine consistency and the result of what is chops is not uniform.
The lid is fiddly to remove and the one I bought took considerable force to `unlock' it.
The thing on the top you press to activate it, and theoretically can change the speed, does not have a positive action nor does where you press it seem to make much if any difference to the speed. It also has the feel of something that will not last.
I found this a very disappointing product and returned it.

Originally bought as a belated xmas gift. However one of the kids turned up with a similar item so this one became surplus to requirements and was returned for refund
