This item is very good quality and great value for money, I made sure that I had the right item number for my Kenwood chef (I researched this carefully). However, although it was the right one, the base didn't fit the machine. I could get the base to fit on the machine without the top part, but if i tried to screw on the top of the liquidiser it didn't want to know. If i tried to put the complete liquidiser on the machine it wouldnt as the inner was too big and so the push up part in the base wouldn't go far enough up to click it into place. My son got a hacksaw and cut off half of the long spindle and it fits perfectly now. The complete liquidiser now fits straight onto the machine and works beautifully. So be prepared for this to happen and it is easy to sort out with a little DIY. I don't know if it was just mine or they are all like this, you just have to try it and see.
