For my first outing with my new mincer and sausage maker, I tackled some venison sausages and cooked them using Delia's Winter Collection Recipe for Venison Sausages Braised in Red Wine - WOW, is all I can say - did they go down a treat!
I found the sausage maker a doddle to use. However, at first I found it too fast and had to turn the setting to minimum until I got the hang of it. It really worked like a dream and I am absolutely delighted with it. I would suggest to everyone that they allow themselves time and take the whole process slowly at first - also not to overfill the sausage casings otherwise the skins split as happened with a couple of mine....all in all though a lot of fun and definitely better than any sausages you can buy....chorizo sausage casserole for dinner today, I can't wait.

Pretty easy to use, I do not understand how the other reviewer managed to get theirs blocked. Maybe they are not using the pusher to force the meat through. I have made several 6lb batches of sausages now. It takes me around twenty minutes from start to finish. Bargain at the price.

Great result
This product was easy to use and clean. Haven't tried the kebbe maker yet but the mincer and sausage maker were great.

I've seen a number of reviews which criticise this attachment on the basis that it is poorly made (or made in China - what isn't!) or you have to force the meat through. Read more

Kenwood A950
The only way to mince with this attachment is to get your butcher to mince the meat first and then pretend you have done it yourself. Read more

Kenwood made in China
The Kenwood A950 mincer is much lighter than I expected because it is made of a poor aluminium. The "plate" on top, to put the meat, does not fit very well on the "tube". Read more

Hard going
